As noted below we asked the children what they would like to see in the park. Not sure we have a park big enough for all, but hopefully we can accommodate some of the items, with grant funding over the next few years
The School Council and the Rights Respecting pupils decided to go around all the classes to explain to pupils that Resolven Community Council wanted our help to decide what new equipment we would like for our park.
We had catalogues to look at for ideas and the pupils in the Foundation Phase choose items then we asked them to vote for their favourite ones.

The overall opinion was also there wasn’t enough rubbish bins in the park and also the playing field. Maybe if there were child friendly one’s children would be more likely to use them and not drop rubbish on the ground.
We hope this will help the Community Council get new equipment for the park.
