Toilets in need of refurbishing. A new application to Pen Y Cymoedd is in progress
A proposal to obtain a liquor licence for the Pavilion was previously put forward and approved by the full Council – Following further discussion it was recommended that should the Bowls Clubs wish to host events they will be allowed to apply for a Temporary Event Notice; however, the Council would not be responsible for obtaining a full Public Licence and the sale of alcohol outside those events will not be allowed. Bowls members may bring their own refreshments should they decide to do so.
A request from the bowls clubs to upgrade the floodlights has been received along with a quote of £3,617. There is no provision in the precept for this
project and it will be put forward to the full council for the next financial year.
The clubs will be advised to try an outside funding source.
