Following receipt of several letters of complaint from residents at Vaughan Avenue, regarding the football activities in the recreation field, members of Resolven AFC, Mr Jonathan Williams, Mr Dean Thomas, and Mr John Llewelyn attended the meeting to discuss the ongoing problems.
Members of the Community Council advised that there must be co-operation between all parties in order to resolve the issues.
In the first instance the marking of the pitch will be put further back to make a larger gap between the street and the pitch, The nets will be sorted out and the 2 remaining nets will be put up alongside the existing nets to further limit the impact of the balls.
Regular meetings will take place between the Resolven AFC and the Community Council to monitor the progress being made.
