Minutes
The minutes of the last monthly meeting held on Thursday 9th June 2021 were accepted as a true record.
Financial Accounts
The Joint financial accounts were previously circulated and approved at the meeting
Forward Planning
Further discussion ensued following the committee’s commitment to forward planning for the next 5 years.
Whilst we are aware of the potential for increased development should the Muirhall Wind Farm Community fund become available, it seemed more prudent to consider what would be productive in the immediate and short term.
The current proposals are the refurbishment of the toilet facilities in the bowling green as they are not fit for purpose, with the increase of use, both with the Resolven bowls clubs and outside clubs now asking to use the green. Grant funding will be sought to provide some of the money and the Community Council providing the remaining amount.
Other proposals discussed are the extension of the MUGA and a new pitch allowing the football teams to train locally, and further development of the children’s park.
The finance committee will continue to monitor their accounts to ensure efficient use of their income and resources and seek further grant funding providers to enable them to carry out many of the plans they have for the village.
