The minutes of the last Monthly Meeting held on Thursday 19th June 2018 were confirmed as a true record.
Matters Arising
Multi Gym – Grant funding of £10,800 from NPT Minor Projects and £3000 from Ffynon Oer have been awarded, awaiting grant application form pen Y Cymoedd
Internal Audit and External presented and approved at full Council
Resolven Carnival and VTrees festival
Given donations of £220 and £100
Councillor Payments
One Councillor has accepted payment
Manager for funding new projects
In order to facilitate new funding applications and it was proposed to appoint a Project Manager to assist the Clerk. Cllr Neal Francis agreed to accept this post which will be taken to the full council for approval.
IT and Budget
It was proposed to add an IT budget to the next years precept.
Training
More training will be required for the new Councillors on the Code of Conduct
Precept for next financial year
Councillors are reminded to bring their project ideas for the next financial year in order to determine the precept for next year.
