Parks
The Resolven Cyber and Resource Centre has approved the purchase of a memorial bench for County Councillor Des Davies.
A request for road markings to the disabled access to the gate at the bottom of the park in Vaughan Avenue. County
The Butterfly garden will be placed in a suitable area in the park. Cllr K. Kulikwill liaise with Local Places For Nature to arrange placement and content.The area around the goalposts needs repair. – Park Keeper
Bowling green/Pavilion.
New lagging required for the pavilion roof to bring up to current regulations. A grant was sourced for this project but rejected
Some of the benches around the bowling green are in need of repair and painting. ongoing
Children’s park
One of the spring items has snapped off and in need of repair- Contractor contacted
The gate at the park entrance needs to be widened to allow disabled access – Contractor contacted.
A path to allow disabled access to be laid – quotes to be obtained.
A suggestion that Muirhall Energy Ltd be contacted to assist with funding will be taken to the full Council. There is no recommendation from the parks committee to do this.

Hall
The Childminders group have returned to the hall
Environment
NPT have started to clear the gullies at the bottom of Waterfall Road to eliminate flooding problems
Proposals in order of priority for the next financial year
- De-Fibrillator for Abergarwed
- Revamp the MUGA – removal of fencing to allow access
- Zip Wire – quoted to be obtained
- Cinder Track – quoted to be obtained
- Exercise Equipment
