Parks
- The storage container has now been agreed and will be delivered in the coming months
- The MUGA needs power washing – to be done in due course
- The new pathway needs weeding – Weed killer to be obtained
- Bushes to be cleared by the carnival container
- A suggestion to put memorial benches in the park will be taken to the full Council
Bowling green/Pavilion.
- New lagging required for the pavilion roof to bring up to current regulations.
A grant will be sourced for this project. – ongoing
Children’s park
Continual problems with football being played on the hard standing in the small children’s section
Abergarwed Park
A quote has been obtained and agreed for the refurbishment of the play equipment, contractor will start in due course
An inspection form to be drawn up for regular inspections of the park
Hall
Boiler to be serviced and a new toilet seat required for lady’s toilet
Environment
The Christmas wrap lights will be delivered shortly
Topsoil for the dram required – this will be carried out in the Spring.
Spring bulbs to be planted
The paintings and plaques have been received for the Doctors surgery – Placement will be discussed at the full Council
The need for Councillor training was discussed and will be brought to the full Council
Proposals for the Precept in the next financial year
Revamp the MUGA – Quoted to be obtained for future financial planning
