The minutes of the last monthly meeting held on Thursday 26th September 2019 were accepted as a true record.
Matters arising
Abergarwed park – A proposal to put dog signs in the park was agreed.
Pavilion – the process of insulation of the pavilion roof and replacement windows by the use of grant aid was ongoing. This will be discussed further in the parks meeting.
Precept – The proposed precept for the next financial year was discussed and a rise of 5% was proposed. This will be taken to the full council with a budget forecast.
Financial Regulations – Formal Tender Limit – The tender amount was discussed at the full council meeting and a figure of £25,000 was agreed. The Standing Orders will now be updated
Financial Reports – The accounts to 31/9/19 were presented and approved.
Reserve Account – Following guidelines to reach a 6month financial reserve it was proposed that funds be set aside on a yearly basis to reach £25,000 by 2022..
Caretaker / Cleaner Salary
Due to the increased workload of the caretaker/cleaner it was proposed that a salary increase of 5% be provided bringing the gross pay to £175.00 per month. This will be taken to the full council
