Minutes

The minutes of the last monthly meeting held on Thursday 10^th September 2022 were accepted as a true record.

Financial Accounts

The Joint financial accounts were previously circulated and approved at the meeting

Precept for the next financial year

Members of the full Council met to discuss the precept for the next financial year 2022/2023.

The budget forecast was drawn up by the Clerk and presented to the members. Following discussion and bearing in mind the current financial situation in the Country it was agreed to keep to the minimum rise of 3% bringing the precept to £62350. 

Whilst to many this may seem a generous amount, so in the interests of the public we have listed below the various areas in order of highest spend.

1. Staff costs account for 50% of the total with 5 staff members
2. Parks maintenance and utilities
3. Building costs, Community Hall, and Park buildings
4. Christmas lights and Library
5. New projects
6. Administration and insurance of all properties and liabilities
7. Training and donations
