Minutes of the meeting Parks and Environment and Hall Committee 8th July 2020

Parks
The main park is now open and social distance banners have been placed around the park
Bowling Green/Pavilion
The bowling green has re-opened with safety measures in place.
The pavilion and toilets have been deep cleaned and users have to book a rink.
The trenches around the green will be dug out next week and the lines painted on the tennis court.
Wall mounted hand sanitisers will be installed in the buildings and around the parks
A grant from Wales & West Utilities Safe and Warm Scheme for loft insulation has been applied for and we are awaiting approval.
Under maintenance the hallway in the pavilion has been cleared to allow social distancing.
A proposal to replace the flooring and notice boards was agreed
New benches will be purchased and spare chairs from the hall will be utilised in the pavilion
Children’sPark
Following Government guidelines the children’s park remains closed
Abergarwed
The grass has been cut in Abergarwed park
