Finance Meeting
The Finance meeting was held in the Community Hall on Thursday 18th July at 11:30

Prior to the commencement of the meeting, the Vice Chair gave a verbal report on the well-being of the Chair, who has been readmitted to hospital.
The minutes of the last monthly meeting, held on Thursday 20th June, were accepted as a true record.
Matters arising
Abergarwed park – an unofficial meeting had been held to discuss arising issues with some residents pertaining to the proposed redevelopment and present closure. It was stated that an action group has been formed regarding the park at Abergarwed and they agreed to both distribute and collect the survey produced by the Council. This was agreed. This should be viewed as the first stage in a long process to make full use of the recreation area at Abergarwed.
Community tool bank – any decision has been delayed.
Pavilion – the process of insulation of the pavilion roof and replacement windows by the use of grant aid was ongoing.
Muirhall Energy – a fruitful and constructive meeting had been held with the company, Clyne and Resolven community councils and two NPT councilors including the local member Dean Lewis, regarding this hopefully very beneficial scheme for the area.
Financial Report – in the absence of the Clerk, it was decided to accept the report as presented.
