The 9 monthly accounts were presented to the members and following discussion were approved

High Sheriff Award – Advertised on Face book and Web site
St John’s Ambulance De-fib course – Members agreed to hold training at Resolven Community Centre with Glynneath First Responders
16/19 Sub-Committee Reports
Parks and Environment – The minutes of the last meeting on 16th January 2019 were accepted as a true record.
Matters Arising
Cllrs A. Jones and I. Ace declared and interest for the following item
Lighting for the bowling green – The lighting that has been obtained for the bowling green, from Clyne School (which they no longer require) is in the process of being installed.
There followed a discussion that the bowlers subscription should be increased to cover the cost of the extra electricity.
A proposal was put forward by Councillor T. Jones and Seconded by Councillor Alun Morgan, that there should be no extra charge.
An amendment was put forward that the matter be reviewed in a year.
A vote was taken and the original proposal was carried by 4 votes to 3
Finance/Funding – The minutes of last meeting on 24th January 2019 were accepted as a true record
Matters arising
The Clerk has contacted several other community councils to see if they would like to join a Code of Conduct training session
17/19 Chairman’s Report
The Chairman reported that he and Cllr I. Ace had attended the Pen Y Cymoedd celebration event
18/19 Councillor Reports
Councillor T. Jones reported on his attendance to a Digital Inclusion meeting.
A further report of fly tipping at the Old sidings in Abergarwed has been received which includes agricultural waste. NPT to be contacted
A proposal to contact Community Payback to see if they can assist with litter picking around the village.
A request for more bins to be installed around the village
