St. Davids Day Art Competition
Resolven Community Council were delighted to award prizes to pupils of Ynysfach School for their wonderful art work. Painting Competition
The Community Council is sponsoring a painting competition for the Resolven children of Ynysfach and Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmnedd School. There will be art token prizes.

Our American Friends came to visit
We were pleased to receive Paul and Julie Bailey from North Carolina this week. They had come to research their Welsh ancestors John and Ann Morgan whose gravestones are here at the Resolven Community Centre.
Cllr Trefor Jones showed them around the hall and village pointing 0ut items of interest as well as a fascinating historical account of both.

A Big thank you to the Ffynon Oer Wind Farm Project for the donation grant of £5000 to the Community Council which part funded the above play equipment.
