The Finance Meeting was held in the Community Hall on Thursday 11th April 2019

The minutes of the last Monthly Meeting held on Thursday 13th March 2019 were confirmed as a true record.
Resignation – Letter of Resignation from Councillor Donna Stroud. It was proposed to send flowers and card as an expression of our appreciation for all her hard work over the years. Proposal will taken to the full Council.
Matters Arising
Logo Competition
The response to the competition was amazing with each child in each year contributing. There was 1 overall winner with 2 runners up and a prize for 1 entry in each class.
Charitable Donations
Members are aware that there are strict guidelines concerning donations to charities or individuals. The Clerk was asked to verify the regulations and report back to Council.
Waiting a response from OVW.
Final Year Accounts
The final year accounts were presented to committee. The figures were discussed at length and approved. Copies of the accounts were given to the members and will be sent to full council. Some recommendations were made for the next financial year which the RFO will put into place.
Bowls Subscriptions – Cllr Jones and Cllr Ace declared an interest
Following discussion it was agreed to leave the current subscription costs in place
Hanging Basket Competition
Following discussion it was agreed to sponsor the hanging basket competition again this year.
